8inch wide rear wheels and breaking Diffs

Just bought a 2wd saph with 8inch wide wheels and about 400bhp.

Will the standard diff be a weak point?

I'm considering reverting back to stanard wheels so to hopefully avoid any unwanted damage

Not true......put the least grippy wheels/tyre combo on...that will create wheelspin and save your diff..LOL.

ive a 3.9 rear gartrac diff.

that wont break easily and we could do a deal.
