Check list, what do I need to drive on the ring....
Ive made sure my insurance will cover me abroad, and I have something like 30 days cover for the year in a eu country, so thats fine, looking at quote for breakdown cover too (fucking HOW expensive
) and I'm gonna photocopy my licence and insurance stuff before I go too to take with me (never take those documents out anyway cus if I loose em I'm stuffed....)
But what about the ring itself? What do I have to show them when I get there? I'm assuming my license, but will I need anything else? Crash hat maybe?

Guy round here had his tvr break down in france, fine he had it covered (AA i think) but they had a backlog and had to wait for a slot, meantime went in a compound over there. Weeks he was told so in the end went and got it on a trailer.
Dunno the exact situation but just somin to ask about maybe when you pay a lot for europe cover!

Gracie - thats a farkin bargain that Greenflag cover! Okay, no one wants to pay out another £160, especially if you don't need to use the service, but imagine how much it'd cost to get your motor trailer'd home privately

photocopies will not suffice, you mst have the original documents.
you do not need to show anything at the 'ring. just buy a ticket from a machine and put it in a machine like a car park entrance. as long as your car is quiet and has a proper registration plate and does not have bits falling off, you will not even speak to anybody.
another tip, filming is not allowed. if they see a video camera in or on the car, you will be made to remove it.

dont forget, the marshalls are watching you
How much are you budgeting for your emergency fund?
If you stack it you have to pay for repairs to Armco etc and pay to be towed/trailored off the circuit.
I was planning on going this year but I wanna wait till I have more money behind me.

1.OBDS....(on board doctor surveillance)
2. ECU .....electronic cardiac unit
3. A selection of prosthetic limbs
4. Enough drugs (morphine or otherwise) to subdue the pain until the GreenFlag trailer gets you back home.
Nothing like a positive attitude, eh?

and a car capable of getting there to begin with, i know something would go wrong on mine, lol!
Surley they would have a big fuck off sign about it - or at least be in the small print when you actually purchase a ticket
edit, i cant find an exact cost but this is in the rules.

ATTN everyone, ive contacted the webmaster of Nurburgring.org.uk, Ben Lovejoy and he informs me that the cost of the track being closed is much less than i originally said, it is 2100 Euros per hour that the track is shut. Hope this helps.
Nice work Money
but I dont think I wanna drive on it anymore
Wonder if they will do me for the blowing exhaust pipe thou
However it does say filming can be done with the permission of the ring staff....
so I might... might get away with it if I say I am filming for a website....

Best was the VW lads had a secret camera mounted in a fog light and it was the best footage i have ever seen on a track when it was played in the hotel bar

also take an e111 form, unless you have other private health insurance
your insurer should pay all third party costs in the event of an accident, if you wish to make a claim and lose any ncb
