Busses every where, camears recording something every 20 yards, manic van drives screaming abuse at everyone, six cars trying to bundle into a space that holds one car, never having a car more than foot from any one panel... every assuming you know where you are going, People with chaved up Clios that think their car is quick (but only cus they can't get above 30mph at any time ) Road signs that are impossiable to read, nothing to ever tell you where you are, trafic lights every 20foot.... need I go on

I won't drive into London at all. Pisses me right off and I get really wound up when I can't go anywhere. London is one place I do use public transport. So much less hassle

Ya big poof Sundays is "easy day" for driving in London - just try it on a week day FFS That's when it becomes a pain in the ass, but you get used to it after a while...

Must admit tho, I won't miss it one bit tho when I move jobs next week. I'll miss being out and about in the van, out in the sun by myself, but I won't miss London traffic

Problem I find on the odd occasions Ive driven in Central London (normally Train and Tube), Is just as you boot it to 30-40. some daft pedestrian strides off the pavement without looking and you have to brake again.

Its just a complete headache, eyes out on stalks when you come home.

Plus £4 a fooking hour on a meter!!

I used to quite often drive into London Bridge/Bermondsey (SE1) on the weekends, and thats down the A10, thru Tottenham, Seven Sisters Road, down towards the city, thru Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street, I knew a sneaky shortcut, so round the back of Goodmans Yard, onto Tower Bridge (please be down ) and down into Bermondsey.

Tried it on a weekday tho and shit myself Still, I was only 18 and been driving for fuck all time

It's second nature now tho Sad innit....

all you have to do is let nobody out and keep your foot down at all times, then you will find it a doddle around marble arch roundabout is the best place to weed out the chicken drivers
