Have you managed to get the gear selection fixed as yet as that sounded like it was slowing you down on the Croft vid?

Slicks will make the biggest difference.

Always thought it was weird that you have such a fast and high spec car and you are well into fast track driving and yet you always use shonky road Toyos

careful not to go too wide by the way mate, coz you car is light you can over tyre it.

Slicks don't work when they are cold at all, they are total shit infact. If you go for either to hard a compound, or put slicks on that are to wide, they will simply not get warm enough and therefore you will have no grip.

Slicks are always constructed with a certain type / weight / power of car in mind. If you don't get it somewhere near correct you end up missing the point.

Sean..
