lack of power

Default lack of power

all is ok when driving without the air con on.....but as soon as i put the air con on, the car has a serious lack of get up and go in it,this happens mostly on pulling away.........is this normall when using air con,the car is a 1.6 focus zetec ......or do i have aproblem.

air con does sap power from the engine.

No this is normal, aircon pump uses a lot of power.

yes this is normal i just been out in the little fez and with the con on shes slow as fuck spluttery and juddery its only 1 of those 12.5 engines so yeah live with it
