brand new GRS EVO 4 intercooler!!
just went round and picked it up from jano's..
these coolers not only look the bollox but also are one of the best on the market for keeping ACT temps down.
cant wait to fit it now, i'll get some pic's up when it's fitted aswell

if anyone's after one at the mo jano has got quite a few in stock now so give him a bell, saves you having to order and wait for it!

I fitted a evo 6 tommi intercooler to my S2!!!!!!

I had ACT`s down to 8degrees!!!!!!!!!

There a fucker to fit,but i hav to say yours does look smaller than even a standard evo item?!?!











And i had to cut out all the inside of my bumper to get it to fit too,i wanted it to look standard as i could.





Good luck fitting it,what fan you using?? I kept the standard fan,it fits fin with mods!!

Wharly - The i/c that Essexrs is talking about is made by GRS and they just call it an 'evo' intercooler. It is nothing to do with a Mitsubishi Evo. This is GRS's 4th version of their RST i/cooler so they call this one an Evo 4.

What's different from the evo 3 then?

 

The Evo 4 is slightly shorter so that it can be pushed far forward to allow the bonnet catch to not foul it.

Got mine to do too. HAving loads of problems getting the cooling side to fit in right.

 

cooling side must be easy on them i have the first type much bigger and have had no probs fit to 10" fan on the rad then fit cooler job done just to be sure with the bonnet thing i moved the rad back just a tad i.e more up right, bottom in, you need a shorter belt for the alternator (spelling)

Maytee i should be quite easy to fit em to your car... here is one we fitted last week

 

mine was a twat to fit i broke 3 rads trin to get 2 kenlowes behind it so gave up and just put 1 behind it

 

sounds like I'm gonna have fun on Tuesday then...

 

Always have fun with the GRS, I had the old evo3 on my last turbo, easy enough to fit really, only problem I had was the lack of space and where to put the kenlowe, but it can be done
