Default What suspension should i get for my ERST???

Allright.. my order with M8 Autotec for a -40mm GMAX supspension kit fucked up cuz they does'nt deliver in Denmark..

So now i need to find out what suspension i should get for my ERST.. And where to find it.. What do you ride with overthere?? The suspension kit has to be approx. -40mm.. Adjustable is too expensive i think.. Pricerange must be around £150-300... can you get a good quality suspension for that kind of money??

Hope anybody can give me some advise cuz im lost in the world of suspension..

And if possible hook me up with some links for stores who deliver worldwide..

Thanx..

well you can get a g-max kit for about 210 pounds (plus packing) which will drop it 40mm and is a good quality kit if you have sensible mods,eg chip, cam actuator, but if you intend to go for more power in the future then id spend a bit more and go for koni set up which you should be able to get for around 280-350 new or used!
try someone like burton power products in ilford in essex england,or there is woodford motorsport, jondell motorsport..........
not only that but they say they will probably outlive your car

Yeah i was aiming for that g-max kit but now i don't know where to buy it.. do you know which stores sells it more than M8 Autotec??

There is a company here in Denmark who sells a 40mm kit called "Mac Johns"..for about £160... Anybody knows about the quality of that brand??

I have decided that my ERST is not going to have more power than approx. 170-180 bhp.. (the car is standard now).. but i think that if you go for more there will also be more problems with the car.. and i want to be able to drive my car on a everyday basis

I will try to check out the companys you referred to

spax do a 40mm kit too but it depends if you still have the old abs on your erst if so i wouldnt go more than 35mm. Why dont you try demon tweeks they deliver worldwide and have a good choice of different kits.

The ABS gets upset as it thinks there is more weight in the back than there is and directs more braking froce to the back. This can result in some shit your pants braking moments as the back of the car wants to overtake the front.

As for suspension Spax or Koni's. From personal experience and dealing with a few kits I wouldn't use a G-Max kit to lob in a canal Piss poor kits

one of my friends got a GMAX on his ERST and imo that car is riding good enough for me

i WOULD go for a adjustable Koni or some like that if possible... but that shit is too expensive for me though.. so i'll have to do with something around £150-300 got a whole lot of other things that has to be fixed on the car too

Coilovers aren't just for the track! As they come with diff spring ratings (my Gaz ones did) you can have them set to how you like
