Thats all I have as I am not organising it with me being local I was just trying to get as much interest as possible as this is the first time for this event so the more that show the better if anyone needs more details phone Yvonne Kerry on 07967516630 I found out about this in my local news paper as there was an article about it.

The application form I got was just the same as the one that I have re written so you can just copy and paste then print it out rather than spend more money on postage for it

then just send it to MISS YVONNE KERRY, 71 DEVONSHIRE ROAD, ULVERSTON, CUMBRIA, LA12 9AJ not forgetting a stamped addressed envelope so you can receive your Rally Number that you will have to display on the day to get in

Although it says all day the gates open at 1pm for the public so you need to get there earler than 1pm I am getting there at about 11.30am

 

I'm interested, any idea of numbers yet? Can Yvonne post some details up on here? Saves X number of people phoning her, or people thinking "I'd rather just know than having to call" like me? Would get much more feedback from us lot if we knew what was going on exactly. "Starts at 1, finishes at 4, but you have to be there before then" is a bit vague!

Yvonne Kerry does not have internet access at the moment so here is a bit more info

This is the first Ford Event that Yvonne Kerry & Anthony Lishman have organised, they will be at Ford Park from 8.30am onwards and stress that you must be there before 1pm when the gates open to the public.

They would like to invite (fill out application form to show) all Ford owners to take part and would like to see as many models as possible from Anglias, Cortinas, Sirras, Escorts right up to the modern day Ford Focuses and Ford Mondeos.

Also they would particularly like someone with a Ford rally car to take part in the show.

They have got support for their venture from local companies, including R&B Supplies and Motor World, all entrants to the show will received commemorative plaques.

Anyone who wishes to sell from their car (car boot) there will be a charge of £5 and if any traders wish to have a stall please contact Yvonne on 07967516630

I am meeting with the organiser tonight to get updated info on this event

 

An update I got from the organisers last night

A charity event with all proceeds going to Ford Park for the up keep of the grounds. People can arrive from 10am event starts at 1pm – 4pm.

Prices are as follows £3 per car, £5 for cars with parts for sale and £2 per square yard for trade stands.

At present 30 cars have been booked amongst them are Mk1 Cortina’s, Mk2 RS2000, Brooklands Capri, 1956 Thames Van, 2.3 S Mk2 Cortina and Escort Cosworth, more cars are expected on the day and all Booked entrance will receive a commemorative plaque.

Some attractions on the day are a catering trailer, ice cream van, craft stalls, climbing wall, refreshment tent, bouncy castles and a few fair ground rides for the kids.

For those that have never been to Ulverston its only about 20mins from Windermere (the Lake District) and if you would like to make a weekend of this you can ring the Tourist Information Centre on 01229 587120 for any accommodation or info on the area.

Wow im from ulverstyon was going to this but never even thought to post, The more the better. D19 STE where re you from?

 

I live on walney mate I posted this up as the organisers dont have internet access so I thought I would help out as I am posting this at work anyhow so its not costing me anything

 

any body coming up for this? how many are booked in?

 

the last I heard there is 60 booked in.
