An update I got from the organisers last night

A charity event with all proceeds going to Ford Park for the up keep of the grounds. People can arrive from 10am event starts at 1pm – 4pm.

Prices are as follows £3 per car, £5 for cars with parts for sale and £2 per square yard for trade stands.

At present 30 cars have been booked amongst them are Mk1 Cortina’s, Mk2 RS2000, Brooklands Capri, 1956 Thames Van, 2.3 S Mk2 Cortina and Escort Cosworth, more cars are expected on the day and all Booked entrance will receive a commemorative plaque.

Some attractions on the day are a catering trailer, ice cream van, craft stalls, climbing wall, refreshment tent, bouncy castles and a few fair ground rides for the kids.

For those that have never been to Ulverston its only about 20mins from Windermere (the Lake District) and if you would like to make a weekend of this you can ring the Tourist Information Centre on 01229 587120 for any accommodation or info on the area.
