My sisters boyfriend recently took his 2ltr ESP Focus to PE to get it tuned and came away with 153bhp with a remap, zorst and filter

He wants to go for cams next, but am I right in thinkin that using the throttle housing from an ST170 would also give a bit more power?

Are there any other ways of getting power out of the engine besides the cams?

 

 

Turbo!

 

Throttle bodies and an after management should see over 200bhp
Or like Lewis said, just turbo it

 

yeah that may be the cards at some stage but he wants it N/A for a bit yet...

zetec's dont rev even eith a turbo on em! fook nows how shite a N/A zetec with 153hp must b!

cheap enough to do! just turbo it! & buy some zetec turbo cames! in stead of buyin N/A cams & then turboin it & then havin to buy turbo cams!

then @ least he will have the go to match his show! as i assume being a ESP focus means he has some form of @gay: body kit & neon set up on it!?

 

think where I am Lewis, Isle of Shite, no-one's even thoguht of a turbo'd Zetec over here so it would mean dropping it off somewhere with a big wedge of cash!

 

No gay neons or bodykiyt lol.... ESP is just the braking system I think...

its only a case of gettin the machingin done which is piece of piss! any machine shop can do it!

then build it back up shoudlnt cost a lot then get managment done & setup back @ PE or where he wants!
