I had one too a couple of days ago but when i clicked on the link it displayed page error and my ebay has still been fine. You'll know if someone has tried to clone your account cos there will be stuff in MY EBAY that you will not have bought. I think there was a thing going around about a bogus email being sent to you to try and get you to re enter your account details so they could clone you which is ironic as the email is warning you about being cloned!!!!!
I emailed ebay about this and never got a reply!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would ebay usa send you an email if you registered on the .co.uk version?
Did it have proper ebay logos or just a blank email?
Also check the email address it was sent from

I got the same email 1st thing this morning and when i clicked on the link i got page error as well
I then get a second one tonight the same even though it states i have 72 hours to contact them? Seems a bit desperate to be genuine to me
It had all the ebay logos and looked genuine enough but a couple of weeks before this i got an email as a security warning telling me i had to log in or my account would be suspended within 72 hours. Whoever sent the message failed to think of one thing....i'm always logged in and have my password set to memory so i can go straight to MY EBAY as soon as i access the net. I never have to enter my details!!!! Same for PF.

Lol got accused of the same by Paypal recently
Probably fake Spadge, I got a couple a while ago from boomspeed telling me they were going to close down my account if I didn't send payment in dollars for the bigger one so I sent back telling them that I didn't want the bigger one & couldn't get US money orders anyway, but they were very insistant that I should pay up or my account gets closed down, I had 72 hours to pay up or it would be terminated... 4 months later my account still works!
Plus the supposed eBay email telling me something about me needing to send my details, but the stupid f*ckeit that tried duping me sent it as a normal email without any of the ebay logos from a none ebay email address!
