i replaced the passenger side wheel bearing, just taken me 2 1/2 hours

and its still making a fukkin noise


anyone wanna buy a 2.0l mk6 escort

better still, want to swap them for a 400bhp 3 door!

how do u know its the bearing??

maybe its the disc warped

 

Bugger piss take when u spend a few hours sortin sumat and findin its not the problem

 

well, waped disc would make a different noise under braking yes??

this only makes more noise when i turn left, hence thinking it was bearing, plus there was slight play, not much but i cuould feel some movement.

unless its the other side...

 

crap news mate,
my front wheels locked up a while ago, i thought it was the brakes, got a piston repair kit,thinking it was the pistons, spent ages and ages changing them and refurbing the callipers, put them on, drove 10 ft out of my garage all happy thinking it was sorted, and the front wheels locked up again, turned out to be the diff fooked in the gearbox, i was gutted, i feel for you,

 

well, its not just the mk6, i replaced the engine in the cabby cos some complete c*unt was sposed to buy it sunday after getting me to hold it for a month for him, yes i should have taken a deposit, could i get hold of him, could i bollox.

your not the only one i want to start rebuilding my s2 but i have to get rid of my 2 mark 1 orion ghia's first if thay dont go soon im going to scrap them.
