Default B.T, useless idiots!!

Rang B.T 2 weeks ago to see if they could send someone out to fit us a 2nd phone socket in the house, so she said the date july 11th(today) between 1-3pm, she even repeated all this before the call ended.
Anyway they didnt show so i rang them up and asked why there not here and she said they have no record of me ringing!!? i was speaking to myself it seems!!
So now made another appointment, august the bloody 10th!!
Wouldnt mind so much but i need the socket a.s.a.p
Why cant these monkeys do there jobs!!

You after a 2nd line installing

Or just a extention of the line you already have (eg, you just want a socket in ur bedroom)

If you just want a extension there WELL easy to fit yourself

They didnt ask me this over the phone i just said i wanted a 2nd socket fitted!

Try dealing with them @ wholesale level.
Why should they care. Who else is as big as them?

Thanks, I happen to be one of those ' pavement licking tosspots' We arent all bad. All you need to remember is when you call, get the name and location of the person whom you are speaking to and make sure you get an order refrence. Its like all places there are always a few 'shit' ones.

imaloverofcars - You only need an extension. This is very simple and you can get the kit from DIY places. Or you could try an out of hours BT engineer or an electrician will do this for you and still be cheaper than BT will charge you. What was the charge about £100? Business customers are about £135!

Cheers

Beccy.

get an electrician to do it! I`m an electrician in ireland and I`d only charge £30 pound including labour, supplying cable and the phone point! easy job!
