My mum called me earlier to say that a lot of the local area had been shut off, Stourbridge ring road, himley road both ends.

Then I found out a bomb had been found in a local pub and police had done a "controlled" explosion of it.

WHERE NEXT???

Maybe they mistook Stourbridge Town station for Birmingham New Street

Sometimes to get to work in Bath I get the Bristol-Weymouth train...

Its a busy route and sometimes its even done by 2x old 31s either end of about 7 carridges...

But sometimes its served by one of them ghey single car things like in that pic, and then its so busy they have to stop people getting on the fucking thing

No seriously, I only know all this shit as when I was in Infants/Junior School I loved Aeroplanes and Trains, my ability to tell you exactly what military plane it is even from a stupid distance away is even sadder then my ability to remember the designation of old trains from when I liked em about 15-20years ago

Its funny, alcohol and drugs have made me forget soooo much of my life, but I can rememeber shit like that for some reason

we used to work a service to blackpool north in the evening from manchester victoria - used to be 4 mk2 carriages hauled by a pair of fragonset class 31's (top and tailed), but now its a single class 158 2 car unit and its rammed solid - so much for privatisation been a good thing
