Default crystal blue xr2

here are a couple of pics my mk2 xr2 in crystal blue, the body work is not mint but its one of the most solid i`ve ever seen underneath, it would have been out on the track at castle combe yesterday but a couple of last minute fuck ups stopped it coming out to play.

twin 40 dcnfs with an airbox

i have finished the suspension fully yet and i`m waiting for my coilovers...

its still got plenty of work to go yet but it does work ish

i have just found a white mk2 xr2 about half a miles away from me for 100 pounds with tax, just ran out of mot last week and its said to be a good solid car and he just needs it out of the way due to a new car so if its as good as he`s made it out to be i will have a turbo`d and a carb`d xr2

Just a quick question, why put the airbox on the DCNF's, IMO they would breath alot better through airsocks or freeair.

But it is a tidy looking Mk2

Easy. The shell that is better condition should be carb'd so you don't cut the shell up any more.
