heard earlier that a controlled explosion was carried out at manchester picadilly train station after a suspect package was left un-attended on a train from chester.

as far as i am aware, picadilly, and the surrounding area is still closed, even after 5 hours

 

Yeap, my brothers been watching from his apartment, a suitcase was left on a train or something.

 

i know its true - my phone has been like a frigging hotline all day with various colleagues reporting back to me

 

Hmm strange.. just yesterday we had a suspect package being destroyed at a danish train station..

 

There was one in Coventry at the bus station yesterday, ring road closed for a few hours.

 

You do realise its all these Chavs dont you.

They're fucking idiots who deliberately leave empty boxes/cases/ bin liners in public places and sit back and have a jolly good laugh whilst some poor Army disposal team has to piss around for 3 hours!

Only a matter of time before their fucking about means a team cant get to the real device. Really REALLY hope the Police track them down from fingerprints and charge them with wasting police time

Suspect packages are what used to be called lost property, even in the IRA days you could go down to the depot and see if someone had handed it in..
