Default Well now, the Pro Alloy intercooler is on, but...

I have lost 0.1 bar of boost peak, so peaks 1.6 bar

But seems to hold the boost a bit better, 1.5/1.4 bar, before it dropped to 1.3bar

Has anyone else experienced this?

All I have heard is people have to turn DOWN the boost as it was too high

Just asking incase I have missed anything...

How would you mean by flowing alot better?
I still get damn boost drop though, confused the hell outta me

It's marginly better than my GRS, can't say it's fantastic though, could be down to the settings of the car I suppose

the older desighn coolers flow faster than new one's but new type such as pro-alloy cool the boost sooo much better if you've lost boost just wind it up a tad

but saying that the pressure you've lost will be made up by the charge being cooler thus denser thus more power for less boost so just eek up the boost an ickle bit to see the gains of you're new fandango intercooler

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but are you measuring boost before or after the cooler?

James...
There are 8 x fan ties in the kit..
4 per fan,
simply fit the pins through the fan and fasten on the radiator with the rubber washers against the back of the cores followed by the clips.
cut the excess length off the pin after you have fixed them on.
The fans should be fixed centrally on the radiator , side by side , on the front between the radiator and intercooler...
Full instructions are on our web site listed under ' fitting instructions'

As for boost loss...
must be a leak.. first check hoses, followed by checking the core for damage- this I assume is the second hand unit you have purchased?.
