Default Ka RS Turbo Almost ready!! * Rudey *s old engine

Started off with this about a year ago

2002 Ka with 11k on the clock...cost me £990. Fixed it up, added some Racing Arches, and some of these...

... and wind it down about 110mm on the back. and some of these to set it off...

Then a lick of paint

Was on the road for about 6 months, then after 24k the engine decided it had enough

So the past month i have been stripping it, painting the engine bay, cleaning the new RS lump down, and that went in last week.

Its * Rudey *'s old engine:

Hybrid T3 (double blades etc)
1.5mm o/s/ accralite pistons, low comp
Cam, Chip, Filter, the usual...

The engine is now all pretty much back together, and im looking to fire it up very shortly

lol, this is about a year shorted into 6 photos

The wheels go straight on with these arches Little bit of rubbing on the front at full lock, but nothing 5mm spacers wont sort out.

The dirty great big front mount looks epic too lol

That engine looks familar

Did you put performace cam in it or was there already one it (not a dig) as Rudeys S2 was owned by me before. In the fiver years I had that lump only needed to put oil in once.

Cracking car m8

Sorry there hasnt been much progress in the past week as ive been in bed with tonsilitus... thought that was something you got as a kid, never mind.

Ka's all but back together now, looking to rent a pipe bender tomorrow to make a few boost pipes and just finish off a few things.

Struggling to get even a Ka rad in there at the moment due to the physical size of the turbo. I think everyone else has used T2's, and mines a 3. It will go, its just annoyingly tight... have to make a new bracket for the actuator etc
