Thought I'd show you all my previous cars of which I kept long enough to take pics of...............


I was new to the computer revoltuion, didn't get one till about 2002..

Most of these are scanned pics. And if anyone takes the mic out of me....



Anyways, this is my first ever car. Got it when I was 17, working for Land Rover as a mechanic. It was a 1.6 LX, had 60 thousand miles on it, was only 6 years old!


I crashed it through a fence, killed 7 sheep in a field, then went off a small cliff backwards I'm the one thats not my Mum....



When I got my insurance money I got this Fiesta. It was a 1.3 SX. Basically an LX with 2i wheels, suspension and interior. The first car I ever modded, lowered by 60mm on Jamex shocks and springs (remembber them? ) and it even ended up with twin 40's. Did absolutely nothing for the performance, but my god they sounded good!
Sold to a lad who immediately put a stupid bodykit/wheels on it and wrote it off in a month



After that I went back to college to become a marine engineer so I had a sucession of really ropey motors, none of which I ever took pics of as they were shit....

In the final year of my apprenticeship I bought this with ALL my savings. Left me dead broke...........

My 1989 S2 RS Turbo. Only had 5 owners, but had gone a kind of off red colour. Kind of orangey......... Had 15" OZ Titans and Koni suspension. It had 170bhp thanks to an AVA stage 1 upgrade, and I loved it. It was 1999 and I was the boy....

Spent the next year ploishing and spending all my wages on it

Ended up with 194bhp@wheels, low comp bottom end, a piper T2, Hybrid T3, 3" Goose, 17" TSW alloys and tonnes of stereo to weigh it down. Eventually after it popped on the M8 at 140 ish mph I sold it.
Worst thing I ever did

Ran about in a Saxo VTR (yes, I know.............) for a few months after this as I was now a qualified engineer but hated it................. It was small, french, slow, and it rattled....
So, when I got the opportunity to own a Legend I bought it. This was Derek Murphy's old car, C12 RST. I got it without the 1.8ZVH but otherwise as it was in the mags. Unfortunately it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth so I quickly sold it before it ruined me financially...


Spent the next year and a bit in my Polo GTi........ I never really fell in love with it though



Got back into the RS fold with this. Cheap as chips but a great car and never gave me any problems...





Sold it and buggered off to sea for ages. Came back and bought my wee XR2



Pleased to say I'm happy with the XR, and it'll make a great track car.
And in the next month or 2 me and the missus are going to jointly buy one of these
