Got an offer for 1meg broadband @ £9.99 per month. Sounds good to me as im still on dial up.
Question is - is it going to be reliable?
Looks like it connects to the set top box, and thats as reliable as a 500hp cossie

 

The broadband is ok but the customer service is shocking, i was ment to have 2 meg fitted should of been on 2 hours until turned on, took the 9 days worse thing is iv been a customer for 3 years.
Indian call centre and tech support, broadband is good, rest of it shit

 

customer service is TOITAL SHIT thats why im leaving them for ADSL.

cant really fauly the service, dont really have any problems with it...

also be aware the 1mb service is capped to 3 gig a month... thats not very much! (you could download that ammount of data in a few hours!!!)

 

im still fooking paying 25ish quid for 750k on ntl
can i get a new set top box for free and go 2meg,as they reckon i can only go 1 meg for the same fooking money on my old box,but it wont be capped

 

Popeye ring them and they will upgrade you free and either give you a nice silver box or modem.

Thats what i did

 

there upgrading me on my old box to 1 meg ( uncapped )which is due to be done anytime now
but might aswell get a new box and go 2 meg for the same price if its free

 

i've got it and its prety good
but as above customer services is shocking

 

I am with NTL, does it not auto upgrade?
How can I tell what speed mine is at?
