removing door cars, N reg escort?
silly question i know, got everything off except the window winder (its an escort van) does the actual arm just pull straight off, held on with a screw or do you wind it anti-clockwise?

From memory there is a spring clip at the back of the winder where it attaches to the shaft coming from the mechanism, you need a piece of thin wire bent into a hook shape and fish it down the back of the winder until it hooks the clip then pull the clip out, this will alow you to pull the winder handle itself off...
