hmmmm whilst decorating i popped out to start the rs and generally check it all whilst its running, it started the other night (first time in 2-3mnths) as soon as it started i turned it off immedatly cos as i started it i realised i had t do summit so didnt leave it running at all, but today it wont start all it does is click but wont turn over at alli have checked all connections etc why would it do this? if it started 2nights ago

 

checked the connections to the starter Gra?

 

give the starter a good whacking while turning over

 

Immobiliser ????

 

I used to get this on my old s2... give the started a wack with a cricket bat or metal rod... its probably got stuck

 

IS the pump priming?

 

cheers, its priming, just not turning over just clicking, checked all connectors to the starter near enuff st8 away but didnt give it a wack tho may go there in a mo and give it some

 

sounds like a flat battery and not enough power to turn the starter or the starter is siezed in which case whack it a good un an turn it over

 

Its a rst wot u expect my old rs done this and it was battery

 

the battery has been on charge for 3 days with a trickle charger so maybe the charger is fucked

 

Get the jump leads on it mate

 

If it's been flat for 2-3months and still connected with the immobiliser draining it,id imagine its the battery is goosed,or its dropped a cell.

Jump start it and see what it does..?
