Default Actuator rod question

Right i decided to replace the 20 year old actuator on my turbo today, there was this little metal clip that kept the actuator rod in position on the wastegate (hope you know what im talking about!) anyway this clip disintergrated when i tried to remove it, so i need a replacement, can i get one from fords or have any of you lot got something else holding it in place?

Probrably a simple answer but still?

I got mine from the bike shop I work at. Places like halfords etc should do them.
