also leeds and holbeck building society - my credit rating is arse, but i still got a loan with a rate of 6.9% from leeds n holbeck

In all honesty don't get one. Get a credit card, withdraw all the money. Wait a month and put it all back in. Wayhey, credit rating goes up. Keep this practice up till you can get a decent loan..

If you're not black listed, the most likely place to give you a loan is your own bank.

When you say you have a bad credit rating how do you mean? Have you never had a credit card, mobile phone contract, utility bills etc... in your name?

yeh i have had all but i went through a stupid phase when i was 18-21 of not paying bills till very very very late
