ok i got GTA:SA for the PC on saturday, but i got some Qs...

im up to the bit in the 2nd city where you blow up the chopper of the bloke who you rescued from the airport (after you kill T bone and ryder)

dunno if thats far or not, but ive kinda run out of missions... onl thing left on my map is a mission for Wu but i cant swin well enuf to do it (it wont let me accept the mission) what i really fancy is a bit of amess about with planes n chippers, but it wont let me into the airport coz i dont havea pilots licence... how do i get one? or is it a later mission? also what about getting onto the aircraft carrier, can you?

and what about properties... are there any particular ones i should be buying about now? (at the moment i only have the RC shop)
also i keep losing muscle all the time, i was maxed out now its dropped down loads, is there something im doing wrong?

To do the swim mission for the blind chink You need to have a swim about for a while, go underwater for as long as poss and you will be able to hold ur breath for longer and eventually do the mission (it dont take too long before you can do it) Also, if you wanna get into the airport, get a truck, drive up to the wall, jump on the roof and over the wall, jobs a goodun

Keep going to the gym mate to keep muscle

 

One way to get in the airport is to drive on the cliff road above the bottom right corner of it, theres planty of scop to get a run up with a bike/fast car clear the water and land inside the fence. Thats how i did it.

Theres plenty of planes and 3 choppers to choose from

 

drive up to the guard house ... jump onto the roof of the car you are in and then onto the roof of the guard building ... your in the airport

ok i just blew up the drug warehouse with a car, so ive now opened up the 3rd area gonna have a crack at that later

anyone know when the airport opens up "properly" ie when can you do your pilots licence?

also are there any tips to building up driving skill? my bike skill is awesome, but the driving one is naff

oh and are there any faster bikes than that 500cc one? i found one hidden in the airport... fookin fleeew!

i got a missionto buy an old airstrip now anyway, i assume it's that that kicks it all off just need another 5grand, gonna give it a rest tonite n do it tomorrow... i see why there was a big thread up about it now... its SUCH A GOOD GAME!

cheat book? NO WAY!

 

You cant get into the airports until you have a pilots license.

Once you buy the airfield in the north of the map you can take lessons etc and gain ya license

You get get a 600 bike but they're quite hard to find, usually around Las Venturas on the strip etc along with the other high value vehicles.

Only way to gain skill is to continually drive around, i find doing the police vigilante missions good for it.

oh, and i cannot buy the car shop near my garage in 2nd city... it's red on the map... ive done all the garage missions too

the one thing i havent done in the 2nd city, is all the driving school missions, i havent done the last one yet (the tour of the city one) could that be it?ive got a full license in pilot and bike tho.

also how important is it to nob the gimp lover bird, i really can't be arsed

 

You need to complete the driving school missions to get the garage as an asset.

You have to nob the bird in the casino to get her key etc to do the robbery mission at the end. (I aint dont it yet)

Not sure on the Army base tho, dont think you can get in unless on a mission.

Planes etc can be stored in the hangers at the airfield you can buy where you do your pilot training.

they stop and talk when your in a convertible but they dont jump in...

ive hardly played it and still trying to do the OG missions

 

thats about 10 minutes in

admitedly it is shedloads easy on a PC coz u got PROPER controls... and shooting stuff is piss easy witha mouse, just tap em in the head one after another and thats about it, then use the 'ol smg for close range "20000 vs 1" type battles stuck in targeting mode n youre sorted only thing that does suck for PC controls is plane controls, as youre using the keyboard which is digital control only so you cant fly smoothly... oh and the controls for the harrier SUCK on the PC... you need 3 hands to do it

CossieRich, there are loadsa birds (apart from the hookers) you can shag, by the end of the game, if done right, you got about 6 girlfirends.

Thats the main problem with the game, once the game is done its peaceful, no gang wars as you rule the fucking place

The San Andreas riots near the end is class tho

OG Loc on the radio is class mid thru the game tho when hes being interviewed

But hes not on the radio by the end of the game so even thats no fun

If I got 5 mins I might begin it all over again, get back to some gang bangin

I'm thinking about restarting....just glad I never cheated at all with money or gun cheats etc. Made it more of a game....remember it being hard starting with fook all cash, went to the bookies on the first island and got lucky, won about 50K one race and went on from there, had shed loads of cash by the end

 

Cheating makes the game shit, I didnt cheat the whole way thru, but once I did it I restarted and cheated and its sooo boring.

Never really gambled either, well, I tried, lost, and gave up, plenty other ways to make cash anyhow
