TOYO T1-S OR T1-R ? OR AVON !!!!
As above lads need 2 new tyres fr my rwd saff cos but unsure what to go for ive already got toyo proxes on but heard ppl using yokohamas there a wee bit dearer but not that much
just wondered your thoughts 215/40/17 demon tweeks seem to be the cheapest ive seen
ooh and there for the rear
IMO toyo where a cheap tyre what all the boy racers use because they look nice now they are getting more expensive you can get a lot better for your money i dont think there in the same league as a yoko bridgestone michelin etc.
try mytyres.co.ku they are usually pretty good

I used to love yoko's, some seriously sticky rubber, especially once you warm them up a bit. But they last about 5 minutes.
Toyo's would be what i recommend
Sticky, hard wearing, good griping and a sexy tread pattern

yeah, the AVS were on my 106 which had 18obhp and wheels spun for fun,
in dry, put the conti's on it and problem solved, they were a 195/40/16 IIRC
and were nearly 70 quid, but lasted a fair bit too

just a personnel opinion, i think that in the dry, toyos are really good aswell as when wet
all depends on what kind of power your car has
Edited now lads
right looked at my tyres site and going to go for toyo t1-s or t1-r or maybe avons , now the latter toyo is a new one so not big difference on price
BUT WHAT ONE is best need to get these for weekend

Try yoko's in the snow & ice, Cos yoko will be meeting John if you do! Utter crap in ice/snow/fresh rain
I had them on my nova (yes i know, shut up
) and they were excellent in the dry, too sticky at some points where i wanted a bit of play, but still very good. Come rain and understeer, it was a totally differn't story.
But its down to personal preference anyway, You'll find that even race drivers of the same experiance might have two totally differn't tastes in tyres, but still be able to the same as each other in differn't ways
