make sure it ain't rotten!!cost a load to put right,if you can find someone reliable to do it best to buy an already restored example if you can afford it. puddy.

yeah amte as biglez sais, do it. get one that needs finishin, then you can make it ur own!! ul c many in clasic ford etc.. that come w all the bits to finish it.

im looking to put a cossie engine in a mk2 cortina estate i could do with some info on how to fit it cheers in advance

i know some body that has got a 1previous owner ,60000 mile cortiina mk2 1600 e for sale think he wants Ł1000 ish for it ,its silver, just wants a bit of paint i think,can find out more if ya interested

Check inner and outer sills, spring hangers,inner wings and the front wings them self. if all thats good go for it.Im only saying what i looked for when buying my mk1.
