Default Personal Injury Insurance Claim

I had a knock in my mondeo last week and its all going through insurance (most likely with a 50/50 responsibility outcome)

I've had a call from uninsured loss recovery firm who are dealing with the claim, they're asking me to bascally fake an injury along the lines of whiplash (as this type of injury can only be taken on the word of the person injured) as I'll be entitled to compensation. I have to go see a doctor and register a complaint of aching neck etc..

She's sent me a couple of forms via email to respond to today that basically give them permission to persue this claim of injury.

Sounds a bit fishy to me? Anyone else been through this?

hmm but r they the no win no fee people ?

they then get more money, making the case longer and maby makes you a worse person to insure so next time you insurance company may refuse when you are due for renewal.

jus a thort, and im in a deep thinking mood today

I would guess theres some legal rules that they cant ask you to fake an injury. Id be inclined to either bin it.

Or even better send it to "The Sun" newspaper.

2 things....

1. That's feckin disgraceful!!!

2. If any injuries were genuine:

If it's 50/50 then how can you claim injuries as you'd be 50% claiming from your own insurance.....this happened to a work colleague and they (the claim company) decided not to proceed.
