Group 2 Zakspeed Mk2 Escort Project
I've been doing this for about a year now, but have finally got around to putting some stuff up on here.. the idea is to turn it into a fast road/trackday car by the time it's done...

ok, so when i first got it i stuck it up on some stands to see what the deal really was.. pleased to say I didn't find any real rot.. just a couple of very small holes in the drivers side foot well, and the front legs are the capri type - which is what I'll need to send them off to Gaz as exchange for the nice new coilovers that will be going on in a few weeks... the doors are a bit manky but they'll be replaced. (I've already got one in my shed waiting to go on.)

Glass and interior out and front treated and primed...

Most of the sound proofing removed from the interior:
Interior finished and etch primed:

Loom out and labelled

Underseal all removed and underside primed

Hole in A Pillar:

Bulkhead now finished:
(there's more taken out on the left hand side deliberately.. all will be revealed later!)

Large Gearbox tunnel fabricated and installed.. apparently I should be able to change the clutch in 20 minutes on my own with this little puppy


Large Diff tunnel also fabricated installed:

Raised Prop tunnel added to complete it 
Just needs a hole for the handbrake and gearlever which will be done when I get my engine and box up there to ensure it's spot on!

Gary also temporarily fixed on one of my Group2 Zakspeed arches and put a wheel he had there in position to give an idea of what it will look like when my proper ones show up (hopefully the next day or so!)
