Race or track day shell. It has been a rally car and a track car in its life. It has a full bolt in cage, tringlelated to front struts, which has been extended in the rear,to allow for rear bucket seats to be fitted The floor pan is double skined in places, and is very strong.has proper jacking pionts, rear beam mounts have been reinforced. It is seam welded. There is no running gear, It is as you see it panel wise. There is a dash board in it, with a one off type loom,[home made with diagrams].
I brought it as a track car, but it does have a number in the floor, I traced this on HPI, it came back all clean and as a F plate Saph Cossie, so you could get a V5 for it if needed.
I want £250for it, ono. Cheers
Have more pics if required, send e mail address

It was Built and Raced by Dave bartrum & Dave Pinkney ( BTCC privateers ) in the 92/93 Season and won the Donington Endurance race that formed the finale of that season , it was the red and white Dagenham Motors sponsored car featured on the cover of a Motorsport engineering book as well . Dave bartrum is ex, Ford saloon car c/ship winner on several occasions and now runs Porsches at FIA gT , BTCC Support levels !!
When it was retired, it was used at brands Hatch on the rally school and laterly as a "Hot -Rides " car ( HOT 4 was its plate ) until Brands decided to re-shell into their escorts, me & my Brother in law supplied a lot of the engines and rolling stock for all them too !! This shell was bought back by him and i sold it to a guy i knew in Worthing , Finlay light was his name .
It had the gpn mods alllowed at Proddie saloon level but Fin cut them off by mistake , loon , i supplied all the comp stuts, tca's, billies etc for that car but he never used it until Jason Lepley bought it and broke it up , shame really as the HT Engine was almost new !
Pete "Noddy " wilks also has a Brands shell that he campigns in BARC & SEMSEC Race meetings still , in fact i saw it race yesterday !!
hope that helps !

I think Rich broke it up as such, as he bought it as a comp car - with what sounds like all those bits you list?
What do you know about the engine that was in it tho?
Hi wyn ,
It was a std re-build by Aaron at HT , about 2 years ago i think . It did NO work at all as Finlays wiring meant it never ran properly , eventually i got him a chip and some greens and it did a trackday at brands , the splitter was a Cut Down Filing cabinet side and the fuel tank was ratchet strapped in , i had no more to do with him or the car as i felt it was dangerous and bloody stupid to use like that .
HT's std spec was/is about 7.6:1 , piston cut outs , balanced , 4x4 pistons , it wont have been much more special than that . The ecu had a chip from scott at Julian Godfreys , it seemed to go well when i saw it .
