2.0l dohc want more power

hi all i have inherited a 02/93 2.0l saphire that i want a bit more poke out of. cant afford a cossie motor so any advise would be appreciated. i have about £600 to spend on parts.

600 quid = drop in an rs2000 engine - extra 25bhp and more torque, easy conversion too if you are good at fabrication and making things
