No mate Tony sold his car to a geeza up north I believe - Kel? Anyway his had spots, orange front and side indicators and a pukka 2.0 engine. his car was fookin lush, don't think mine is as nice, but the comment is greatfully recieved

very nice I was thinking of getting a mercury grey one in the end brought this last month, G reg, 67,000 miles nice and clean.

 

I thought the G plates onwards were all 90 spec (bumper, spoiler etc)

No mate, mine is but it was registered in dec 89 so late 89 and they were.... his must be an early 89 probs I think towards the end of 89 they started the 90 spec models and then hit 90 and got the H plates and then put all the shit on inc fuel computer etc etc.....

Anyway, the guy is probably pissed at the post invasion! Lovely looking car anyway Skiman!

wats the story with rear lights on yours adamS2RSt? i cn a set on an erst down at santa pod at the wknd, are the indicator and reverse sections kinda grey??? car is absolutely superb mate love ur choice of mods, spot on.

 

chiz, they are an "aftermarket" product, i.e not genuine ford rear lamps. they are smoked red/grey you can pick them up on ebay etc, roughly 30 to 40 quid for a set, they look the best imo and always wanted a set

Nice S2s people i picked up one last month and has only done 53k but am already letting it go soon. I see that skiman has his S2 at a standard ride height and a good thing seeing the roads of britain are breaking up day by day.

Mine was in brilliant quality standard spec when i got mine too! 59K on the clock, Power Eng. all its life every 3000miles and a folder of every receipt imaginable thats thicker than the bible!
