Phone Mark One Hire in Rayleigh. They hire the generators out. Tell em you want to hire one to power a car jetwash and ask them what CC/size the generator is! The smallest ones are 2.7kw (you can get smaller elsewhere I think) and im sure that will be fine as i use this size when trading at shows (powering PC/Printer/Cutter/Air Compressor etc..)

With roughly 2KW needed for a hobby washer and 1200w needed for the vacuum to run them both at the same time your looking at a minimum of a 3.5KW ???

Well remembered Al I use to run a henry hoover and a karcher pressure washer on a 2.6kva ...shame really as I only sold it last month as I needed the space, but Tonys right in what hes saying. Try Costco as there pretty cheap and do a no quibble excahnge if you fancy a newer model later on Also if you but the round to square plug adapters beware as they soon melt if used a lot ....

Always go for a little bigger than you actually need ....

No reason, its just they get heavier and bulkier as they get bigger, and its good watching people struggle

(remember to look at the wattage of the kettle too )
