piper 285t2 and solid lifters

would it be ok to use solid lifters with the above cam ?

I would say no! Dont even think about it!

If you want a decent cam/solid lifter kit, talk to Newman Cams.

nope as the cam dont have the pickup part for the lifter

if ya want a decent solid lifter cam profile then speak to dingy and ask him if he can get ollie to get one for ya
