Im starting to wonder if I spend the amount of money that I want to spend it, how do I justify it?

Anybody got any good reasons?

 

My parents ask me this all the time! an i always say the same thing, i just wanna do it all now while im young and don't have any real commitments such as a mortage or wife an kids to look after!

oh an i always ask if they rather i spent the money on drugs!!

Its your money. You do what you want you with it.

I hate it when people tell you what you should do with it. I work hard for my money, if I want to set it on fire I will. It has nothing to do with anyone else.

i dont have to justify anything too myself,,, i do it cause i like doing it

i aint running my life like a company,,, justifying this and justifying that

 

If you are asking the question maybe you cant justify it so think twice.
Im in a minority i guess , the Missus Knows what I spent on my motor, work to a budget ,otherwise it can escalate out of control.

Well I know what you mean, my dad is always saying I gotta save for this and that, and he's right but I want to have a fun car now that I can afford it instead of when im old and have kids

 

You just got to get your prioritys right ,simple if you cant put shoes on yer kids feet dont get the bigger turbo get it

 

simple, the day you have to justify it means you can no longer afford to do it.

i get lectured at work daily about spending on my cars, i put it down to that fact i'm the only one there not already being measured up for my wooden long term sleeping box.

"why don't you save for a house" simple, i can get a 60k mortgage wich still leaves me 60k short of the price of a house that i'd actually want to live in, even if i save every penny i earn for the next 4 years i still couldnt afford a house and would be bloody miserable in the mean time!

"why don't you put the money away and let it earn for you" why?! i die tomorrow my folks then have the hassle of getting it back off the banks and i've worked bloody hard then to pay for my parents holiday?! i think not!!

end of the day you do it because you enjoy it, the day you stop enjoying it stop spending on it.

I wouldnt like to think how much money I have spent on my car at the moment, but trying to justify spending another shed load is very hard, I know that when its done, I will love it more than ever! But until then im gonna be just spending money continually!
Which I think in anyones book hurts!!!

BTW, Im not trying to justify just speding money on it, I mean im trying to justify spending a lot of money on it!

Anyway, good to hear some peoples opinions!

if u didnt have a hobby like a car to spend money on then you would have loads of spare money and would spend it all on drink and drugs.

Lost interest in pissin around with cars now & find I have much more of a laugh out with my m8s on the beer!

I find that I cant enjoy myself by getting pissed it only makes me feel like shit! So thats that one out of the equation.
