How do you get access to bruntingthorpe? how much is it and who do you speak to??

Also If you wanted to do some timing, is there someone you can hire timing gear from or do you just have to sweet talk a magazine?

Wondering about having a crack at doing 200mph

200 mph in an impreza????

Bruntingthorpe is around £400 per car per day.

You can hire timing gear from Racelogic in Buckingham.

 

Well at scoobyshootout Marks car did 190.1mph

I have a very similar engine only thing is my car is a wagon.. not checked aero figures vs STi5 yet though!.

Just a mad thought! Having said that I think with the 6spd and the D01J's I only have a top speed of 198mph

Impreza's dont like high speed though.. so might chicken out yet!

erm.. not a such, theres been pics of the car at various stages in a mag, but its not really been featured.

Datron is £250 and brunters is about the 400 mark - but you can share it so might become cheaper....its about 5k for the whole of brunters

 

To get from 190 to 200 will take over 100bhp in extra Power so remember that.
You also need to gear short to increase accleration so Peak Power needs to be higher than ever. 0-200 in circa 30's required or you will run out of road. Aint easy & very few have done it .

ps. I pay £50 hour for Brunters , just go to Website & ask. In the Summer, evenings are best after 6am you will probably get it to yourself.

Your cars not shy David! If you left it standard looking its be a great Q car. I can just imagine the drivers of Super Cars getting spanked by an estate car.
