Default The boy with the Incredible Brain......

and No, I dont mean IMA.

Did anyone see that just know on '5'??

A 25 year-old who could recite 'Pi' to 25,000 Decimal Places.

Was truly fascinating.

Was also a guy on there who could tell you, regarding a specific Date, the Day of the week, the weather on that Day and stuff like News headlines. He can also read a book at a rate of one page every 8-10 seconds!! Using his Left eye to read the left page and his right eye to read the right page!!

Unbelieveable.

Great program

I reckon most people could learn how to do stuff like this, but it must be hard to teach/get across!

I think you could learn to remember strings of, say, 100 numbers. But 25,000?

Weird.

It's not learning the numbers, it's learning a process to help remember the numbers!

He doesn't just sit there and think 3 then point then 1 then 4 then 2 etc, he sees a shape to help him remember it (at least thats how he does sums, I did miss the start of the program though!)

That was amazing.

Also found those kids with the abacus fascinating - doing those crazy sums without the physical abacus there, but just transposing it mentally - incredible!
