Default Project Not Quite So Rusty, My Dads Saff 10/08/05.

Right stupid I know but ive started another little project, this one is not going to be as big as my S1 (i hope )

Anyway here it is:

Not bad for £1900

Well it needs a few bits sorting out on it, the engine and running gear seem to be fine, even though the car has done 190k miles

The bodywork needs some sorting, ive got him 2 new front doors for it as the old ones are starting to rot out and its got a couple of little rust holes on one of the sills, its aslo got a big dent in the rear panel and the longer you spend looking at it you can pick fault with the paint on every panel, so it looks like a full respray is on the cards!!

Will post pics of the progress and hopefully it wont be long untill she is back on the road

And dont worry those door gaps aint how its staying, just need a bit more tweeking!

Right still working hard on the old girl, the backend is all back together and the O/S has all been painted and put back together too, here are some pics:

The rear bumper is back on and looking sweet.

After spending a few hours polishing/masking and painting the boot badge looks as good as new.

Still a lot more work left to do.

Well its taken a few months now and had a few headakes along the way but last weekend it made its first trip out, to Ford Fair, here is a few pics of her there:

There is still a lot more jobs that need doing over the next few months, he has just bought a stainless exhaust for it and it needs the sunroof replacing asap.

Then over the winter we are gonna referb the wheels and maybe have the suspension powder coated, but for now we are just enjoying it, i fooookin love driving it
