Default Over heating??

My gauge is reading higher the usual & doesnt take long to get there at all. 15 mins or so. My head gasket wouldnt be going would it?? Theres no oil in the water or water in the oil. but the water was just below min. The car is driving fine & the fan is kicking in, but its just not cooling it down enough.

Any ideaa's??

My S1 is like that

Its had a brand new ford radiator put on it

Been told it could be a lazy water pump or could even be head gasket failure

Apparently you can stil have headgasket trouble even if it isnt loosing oil etc.

If its stable at that temp and assuming the fan is still operating, I wouldnt be overly concerned....compairing my original guage with the digital guage thats also instaled, the N=90degree's

As above. If the fan is working and it does bring the temp back down it should be fine These car's get very hot very quickly
