ARP stud and nuts

Default ARP stud and nuts

I'm putting the head back on my mates saph tomorrow and i'm putting ARP stud nut kit on it and i was just wondering what torque setting do i put the studs in and what torque setting to i do the nuts too???

allways use the torques given by the manufacturer.

in this case use ARP:s torques. they are given to you whit the bolts. there should be paper in the box, where the bolts came.

ARP gives 85 lbs and burton 95 lbs ...

For my 4AGE 10mm 190,000psi stud kit the ARP instructions said hand tighten the studs into the block and do the nuts up to 60 ft lbs. The instructions said to use their setting and the ARP lubricant.

The Burton figure could be different if using a different lubricant.

Checked my Sierra/Escort kit and ARP say 80 ft lbs for 190,000 psi studs.
