The Power Meter will time sprints, and allows you to map the boost on a Speed factor using 4 separate Boost Control channels. Each channel can be get for not only different Boost Levels, but different Gain settings too, which controls how the turbo spools up.

You can also display the boost as a graph allowing you to see how well the boost is held and where it drops. You can also record a certain amount of information.

There are also additional Data channels which can be used to monitor other factors, which can be graphed too.

Virtually none. Go to a scrappy, nick one off a Fiesta or late escort. Take the speedo cable off at the gearbox, screw the speed sensor on where the cable came off. Then screw the cable onto the sensor. It has 3 wires. (Live, Earth and Signal as far as I can remember). It's a piece of proverbial pi55.

Not sure about the legalities of removing the factory speedo, but the Blitz unit does display accurate speed. If you are after accurate and controllable boost with lots of additional functions you certainly won't be disappointed.

I used the Apexi AVC-R before the Blitz one and the Blitz leaves it for dead. It's dead easy to set up and you can bring the extra functions in as and when you feel comfortable.

It also has an over-boost function, where you set what boost you want to run and where you want the over-boost limit set. If it tries to exceed that limit (which it won't unless its VERY cold etc) then the screen flashes red, the unit beeps and it will immediately back the boost off to a pre-set level to safeguard the engine.

do you need a special ECU for one of these to be able to changet the boost stage propery

ive got a S2 ERST and it will be set up to run around 20psi but i dont really want to drive it like this round town, would rather have about 8psi.

Would this help, ive got a superchip at the moment if that helps

Would be ideal for what you want. It is totally stand-alone.
