Default DISKLOKS and steering wheel wear

has anyone noticed this or am i just paranoid.

I have been using my disklok quite a bit lately and have noticed it is starting to make my steering wheel look worn out.

anyone else noticed this then?

Is it the original plasticky one? If it was a sexy Momo or something I can see it maybe getting worn, but not the placcy one!

Anyway I'm too scared to use my Disklok often... feel happier taking the wheel with me if I can!

I know what you mean it happened to my mates RS2000, so from then I've found that to combat the problem is to go to the cheap car shop (every towns got one!!). You know, the one that sell de-icer, air fresheners and other cheaper cleaning gear by the boat load. Go in and buy one of the fluffy steering wheel covers from them. Slap that over you pride and joy's s/wheel then put you disclock on.

It stops the marking and damage to your s/wheel. hope it's helped.

I dont have to worry about using one of them and it causing n e damage to the wheel as I just remove my one as it's a snap/off type and lock it in a clamp in the boot
