have just aquired a wee citreon saxo 1.5 diesel 0-60 in a week neutral down a hill so not to excited about that.

Anyway i have purchased this so i can begin to sort out the car. The work i do to it depends on funds. I plan on renting out a near by lock up getting it up on stands and starting at the front and working back. Getting:
new valance
Fibreglass bonnet
New light
Repaint grill and light surrounds
Remove one main beam light to form cold air feed
Remove engine
Spray engine bay
Detail engine paint rocker cover etc
A set of new wheels
Remove exhaust and paint it
Strip out interior and fit 2xbuckets and cage, new steering wheel and aluminium dash
Fitting anti dive kit
polyflexing car
Lowering onto single leafs
Turbo tail rear spoiler
Remove bumpers (still deciding)
Fitting twin 40s
Rear disc conversion
Paint underside of car
Waxoil
All new window seals
Sort out some kind of sounds
De stripe and get rid of rubber strips
Lots more in pipeline

Ive set aside roughly a year to do this so money shouldnt be a problem stretched out over this time period. Ill post pics as soon as shes up on stands

 

Update:

I have begun taking the car apart. I have limited space to put stuff once taken out so car is still assembled. Vorrowing engine crane next week to get the 2.0 out. As you can see from pics front ends all coming off having a little trouble getting bumper off as never attempted this sort of project before.



I found this rust whats the best way to get this out. I plan on sanding down front and re painting myself but want to get rid of this rust.

hi mate , i dont know the specific angles of a capri front panel but the only way to totally get rid of rust is to cut it out and weld in a patch to cover the hole, probly best to get a proffesional to do it if you are unsure, especially if there is only little bits to do, hope this helps, mark.

Removed all front suspension today and side rubber strips and mounted indicators in front of car ill wrap her up and shipo her off to body shop soon to have the sills and sides painted as grommets have been left in doors and i dont want to attempt this myself and old bumper holes are being pugged up and fille in just on the hunt for turbo tail rear spoiler now.

 

Any other engine mods besides the twin 40s ?

 

Err not as yet i want her set up correctly on carbs first then im going for lumpier cam and 4 branch then dynod prob looking at about 140-150 i hop with or without head work im not sure!

 

Just got meself a loan through so ordered some 15x8 minilites, booked into body shop, single leafs, rear 280mm disc convesion and a 4 branch

they are a fibresports dealer and they definitely have the front splitters in stock.

not sure about the turbo tails though.

Got me some cobra monacos today and subframes for Ł50 getting seats proffessioanally cleaned tommorrow wheels arrived today aswell ill get pictures up soon!

 

finally nearly back on road work bonus in 2 weeks and shell be back out been a crap 6 months for me real shite so gonna get her back on road and start a fresh
