in 3rd, but esp 4th or 5th gear, when on full boost, if you drop the clutch the revs just die and she cuts out...
any ideas? think i read sumwhere awhile ago that it may be crank position sensor...

take the T piece off the lil 'vacum' hose and plug it onto the inlet manifold. . thats that one taken care of.
get a broom handle and cut the end off it, about 2-3" and tighten with a jubilee clip, sorted

Right soz...
there will be a T-piece where the dump valve vacum hose taps into the original hose, take the T piece Off and connect the original vacum hose from the ECU box - the inlet manifold!

hhave you got a crappy cvh oil cap still? had a similiar prob with mine, changed that for a oil cap for one that you lock in using an alan key not had it since and make sure you dip stick isnt loose like the other fella said its an air leak.
be careful of taking the dump valve off when I ask about this a few months ago, few people said they took theyre dump off and they blew the turbo within the week,

if it dumps for 2+secs then sounds like the spring is WANKED... lol
leaking dumpvalves (ie 90% of dumpvalves... lol) will cause the car to not idle properly.
it takes seconds to remove the dumpvalve and take it for a spin round the block to test it... go n do it now mate

the little one from the top, if you cant just take it off completely, get a self tapper screw, these fit in there nicely if you get one the right size
as for the big hole... there are loads of household items that'll fit in the hole nicely
