Default tuner advise rolling road

hey im lookin 4 sum1 to setup my car properly, pref with a rolling road. i have a s2 with hardly any engine mods, but i want to speak to sum pros so they can tell me her condition. how much would i b looking at?
i live just east of nottingham, how about jamsport in northants? any other advise/names/experience?

any experience with jamsport?

leakdown test would tell you more than the rollers will in a lot of ways!

Kinda compression test but more advanced, pressurised air is fed into each cylinder one after the other while a pressure gauge monitors how the pressure is being maintained in the bore. Because of the constant flow of air into the bore, you can tell if either valve (exhaust, inlet) leaks, if you have a headgasket leak, or, leaky rings.

Although ive never taken my car there i deffo would as ive only ever heard good things about the place!

That picture puts a name to the face for me as i was talking to Dan ( as i no know his name lol ) in a petrol station on the morning of santapod was telling me theyd spent the morning racing people up and down the dual carrige way! seemed a Top man and very friendly..

ah ive known the 'leakdown' test as a cylinder leakage test... collage eh, LOAD OF SH*TE!!! ah well they may let me bring it in to do it.


bought a compression tester, got 150 psi(think it was psi lol) on all 4 dry, wet i got 160, so an increase of 10 psi from dry to wet... my tutor reakons thats fine...

Compression test is pretty useless to be honest, unless you have a major leak it doesnt show much at all.
