Default Megajolt and Megasquirt....Anyone had any experience???

A firend recently said to me these were really good, and ive looked at te relevant sites.

Just wondered if anyone has had any dealing s with either of this stuff...

megasquirt = DIY fueling
megajolt = DIY ignition

put em both together and you got a home made ECU

For the sake of half a grand, id sooner just buy EXP48 or similar TBH.

Nice idea in principle though.

I think IMA isnt using it cause none of his tuners recomend it?

You can run MegaSquirt n EDIS to do both ign and fueling

for a bit more info...

yes i'm running megajolt on an S2, works very very well
Megasquirt should be up and running in about a month.

No i was saying i would spend half a grand extra on EXP48 (ie isntead of 50-100 or so for DIYing it) to save the hassle, but all depends on how much free time you have, id enjoy doing megasquirt but i already have more projects than i have time for anyway.

i dont know much about it

But i know 1 person using it to run his 106 rallye with bike throttle bodies, he reckons it does the job and saved him loadsa cash

Loads of westfields are running it, not sure about that many turbo'd ones tho. E-mail bill shurvington and he'll give you the full spiel. He's on the dax mailing list or the turbo 7's one or both.
