just wondering what the differences are betweena normal saph and a rouse saph? what did exactly they change? i know they hada smaller turbo but wasnt there a change to the torque aswell?

the torque changes due to the other changes made.

also rouses are ofcourse chipped hence why they make more than 200bhp

 

yeah they are chipped , there have waranty stickers over the ecu screws too

Am i correct in thinking that they ran 225's as standard (tyres not BHP)

 

they only had standard heads , sure i heard they was worked on

ill waity for DOO's reply, im sure heas heard theres the word "rouse" been mentioned in the world, just needs he's access to a pc im guessing

rstoughy, max's 302R motor had 225s on it with lattice wheels! not sure if the wheels are different r not, buti dont think you can get 225s on a std saph wheel

A smaller Garret T25 turbo rather than T3 which all but eliminates turbo lag as boost is available from about 1700 rpm upwards.

A fully Re-mapped ECU.( not just a chip)

Rouse Sport 302-R/304-R decals to back valence and side rubbing strips.

Twin windscreen wipers.

Higher voltage head lamp bulbs

More sound proofing around bulkhead and under carpets foam if diffrent place around the dash to stop rattles.

identification plaque (build no chass etc..) fitted to drivers B piller.

luggage bar where fitted in the boot with straps to stop your bags etc.. flying around the boot)


225/50 15 yokohamma tyres

Option 16in alloys and woodpack kit (fitted to door cards and parts of the dash).




Andy Rouse planned to build 100, however with a price tag of 30k+, the total figure only reached 67 of which 6 were 2 wheel drive, the other 61 were 4 wheel drive.

Did the 304R use a L8 ECU with the chip plugged directly into the mainboard with no baby-board fitted?

Robert_Cox buy one if you can find one for sale even when there up for sale they don`t take long untill there sold.

with very good resale vaule if you don`t like it.
They can only go up in price prob est around 30 cars left.

infact id have benns one but convert it to 2wd and loose the wheels

 

infact i would fit a rs500 bumper to it
