fans on the rst... is there any way to make them kick in earlier.. apart from a manual switch, id like them to come in automatically, but earlier

Not 100% but I'm sure I was told one of the Cossie fan switches came in at a lower temp than the RST's and was a direct fit. Think it was the 4x4 but like I said not 100%

cossie one comes in at 82 as the rst one comes in at 87..

if u look at the thermostat hsing its the big blue plug ..pull the plug off get a big spanner on and take it off ..put some sealing ptfe tape around the new sensor plug..it takes about 10mins to do ..the fans will come in alot earlyer and theres no need for a manul over ride switch...

Prob better to go to ford to get this part

 

Undo fan plug on sensor on the thermostat housing chunky spanner to whip the old one off. Screw new sensor in and nip up reconnect wiring plug. Even our Keith could do it

ur prob loose abit of water when you take the plug out..remember to top it back up
