quite a lot!!!!!!!! to get it you will probably need a management set up which enables you to have it programmedon? but efore that your engine will need quite a bit of tweeking aswell, new pistons are a deffinate i think otherwise the originals would just melt!!!!!!!!!!!!
As above, it is very involved. My S2 has it, but to be honest, its not worth the cost of adding it for that reason alone. My Omex 700 Series Management comes with it, so I use it for that reason. However, it still needs modifications done in addition to that.

Off the top of my head, I would say around the £10k sort of mark.
That includes engine, Omex 710 (
) management, fitting, mapping, Maram shaft for the turbo (stronger left handed shaft which doesn't melt under the extreme temps generated by ALS) and probably a few other bits.
APT sorted me out

Anti-Lag is something that needs alot more consideration other than just the function itself. You need to consider Transmission strength, aswell as the strength of the engine, which is why the overall cost is high.
Omex 600 Series Management supports ALS and costs around £2k fitted and mapped, but that cost doesn't include the ALS map and other Auxillary maps. You also need modifications to the car to allow it to actually produce Boost, which means Throttle Body mods etc.
There are devices on Ebay to simulate the sound, if its just the sound you are after, best to go that way.....

£2k on management and mapping, fair enough....that leaves £8k for engine mods, aux maps etc? er, okay.

Omex 700 ECU was £1000 when I bought it, plus £70 for a partial loom. Then fitting and mapping on top. Omex set the prices for mapping. They say 3 days maximum to map @ £400 per day. Then add the fitting cost, then mapping ALS maps.
Now lets think pistons, around £500 for forged pistons, depending what ones you buy. And conrods? Another £750 for steel rods. Then add the full whack of the rest of the rebuild.
Oh, lets not forget a Maram 247 shaft for the turbo. What do they cost these days... Around £1200 I think. Plus the rest of the T34
Also gearbox has to be taken into consideration. Along with ceramic coating of certain parts, but I won't bore you with all the details of that.
As for being pointless, just shows what you know about ALS. I assume you think it is pointless because the wheels will just spin up? Nope
Anyway, the question asked was "Tony Turbo - What did you pay for it?" NOT - "How cheap can I have ALS on my RST. I', not worried about melting various bits, I just want it to go pop?"
