Default T34 turbochargers - whats the compressor A/R?

just bought a turbocahrger for the cossie, unsure if its a T34 or not, was sold as a T34, but on investigation now i'm home, appears to be a T3 not that i'm moaning - its in better condition than mine

it has the following number on the garret manufacturer plate for the model - TB03B4 or it could be TB0384 - can't quite make out the 2nd to last letter/didgit.

has a .48 exhaust housing, .42 compressor, with what looks like a 55 trim comp wheel, unusre of that tho.

can anyone shed any light onto it?

and no - it aint fooking blue

It's just a standard 4x4 turbo (which is slightly better than a standard 2wd T3 anyway ).

Is no way a T34 though .

chers Danny

i was under the impression that 2wd was 50 trim and 4wd was 55 trim

if 4wd is 60 trim, then the mismatch i've got on mine at the moment as a temp unit (4wd comp cover with a 2wd core and wheel) means its well out of tune for power, but good for scarring birds with whistles

Tony,
I was always led to believe it had a more efficient exhaust housing?

It is a better turbo on paper but in the real world of cosworths it's not ,it mashes itelf .
Sure plenty of people on here have had them loose the exhaust wheel.
Now the t34 is a turbo to have
